The old Mountain Brook Homes Website
When we initially began to speak to JD Wallace, owner of Mountain Brook Homes, the idea of investing funds into a new website was difficult for him to swallow. Understandable. Economics times are sluggish at best, and many builders are not bringing in revenue to support their businesses. What to do? Yet, when we spoke about what he would like his site to execute better for him, the response was clear. Create quality leads. What was very evident was the overarching need to create a site that was centered around the visitor, and guiding that visitor to the proper interior pages, therefore minimizing those those that land on the site, only view the homepage, and leave (a.k.a.: Bounce Rate). We needed to offer an incentive to JD to re-create his website, so to create those quality leads he needed. “PCT” or Prospective Customer Targeting is exactly what was needed. The idea is simple, and is where proper lead-generation web building trending: Create a design that properly moves visitors onto the the appropriate pages that will most interest them, and satisfy their need, at that moment. Gone are the days where anyone really cares who you are, and what you are “About.” That cannot be the focus of websites any longer. You only have a few seconds to make an impression, or they are off your site, and all your work to get them there is wasted.
The new site offers what most visitors are seeking when landing on Mountain Brook Homes–Homes. I will speak more about “PCT” in coming posts, but here is JD’s reaction to his new site…
The new site is flawless, after less than a week we are already receiving new leads!”
